ingestion of poisons/medications

• look into the victim's mouth

  • remove all tablets, powder or any material that is present

  • rinse and wipe out the mouth with a cloth

   

• dilution with water

  • drink 50 - 100 ml of water

  • do not drink any milk, eggs, vinegar... 

   

• vomiting

  • only after a consultation with a phsician

  • only in conscious ana cooperative victims

  • induce vomiting with the mechanical irritation of pharynx

  • do not induce vomiting after ingestion of detergents, caustics, organic solvents

   

• activated charcoal

  • only after a consultation with a phsician
